Colfax Marathon - Runner Information

Run for Veterans with TBI in the Colfax Marathon

Operation TBI Freedom is an official Charity Partner of the 2012 Colfax Marathon in Denver! You can help soldiers and veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families by registering to run for Operation TBI Freedom in the Colfax Marathon on May 19-20.

Runners will help raise money for Operation TBI Freedom and have chances to win great prizes! All money raised will go directly toward helping Colorado soldiers and veterans with TBI and their families get the help they need to improve their quality of life.

Step 1: Go to the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon website and register for a race. You can choose to run a marathon, half marathon or 5K, or you can get a group together for a marathon relay team. When registering, make sure you select Operation TBI Freedom as your Charity Partner.

Step 2: Go to our marathon fundraising page to set up your personal fundraising page. Click on “Become a Fundraiser” on the right side of the page, and then follow the prompts to create an account and set up your page. Each runner should set up their own fundraising page, even if they are part of a relay team. Download step-by-step instructions for creating your page.

Step 3: Start fundraising and training! Send your fundraising page to all your friends and family and ask them to support you in representing Operation TBI Freedom in the Colfax Marathon.

Already signed up for the marathon but didn’t choose a Charity Partner? You can still represent Operation TBI Freedom! Email kgoulet@denveroptions.org, and we can help you get set up as one of our runners.

Eligibility for prizes will be determined by the donation amount shown on your fundraising page.
